Activation problems with Office XP

Hello,
I have just purchased a new Sony Vaio Laptop, after my last laptop ACER
tragically died through wear and tear! anyway I had to restore my Sony Vaio
Laptop back to its original state when I purchased it about a week ago due to
problems with my computer (I dont know what they were) I had already
installed the Office Xp student and Teachers version 2002, when I first got
the computer. After the restore of the whole computer, I reinstalled Office
XP and it now requires I activate the product, when I click on the internet
registeration, it comes back saying that I have already activated the
product. So if thats the case 1. Why is it asking me to acitivate the product
and 2. What can I do to activate the product, I have about 4 more goes left!
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nothing! I am getting frustrated
and hope some one can help me!
