Activation(Reactivation) problem

Hello.

I am having problems opening and reactivating my Office XP
bundle. Here is the story that lead up to my current
situation.

I bought my Office XP from my college bookstore and
installed the bundle onto my computer. It came with three
CDs. Later I was cleaning my computer up with Ad-aware
and for some reason my computer stopped recognizing the
Internet. So after a long time of trying to figure out
what the problem was, as well as swapping my hard drive
and cards out onto another motherboard and case as a
slight upgrade, we decided it would be best to just
reinstall Windows into a new folder all together. It
seems that this messed with my registry and all of my
installed programs aren't quite working very well, and so
I began reinstalling all of my programs.

When I reinstalled Office XP, I tried opening up Word 2002
so I might add to a document, but I was greeted with
the "You have 50 start ups left to activate your
program..." message. I clicked Next to begin activation,
but it gave me a message saying that it would not activate
my Office XP because it was installed on another
computer. Since then I have uninstalled Office XP,
reinstalled it, and cleared through my old Windows folder
in hopes of the program allowing me to activate it.
Interestingly enough on the error message it says "If this
is an error, press OK and follow the instructions on
contacting customer service...", and yet there is no
instructions at all.

So that's my little problem. If you are able to help out
with this activation problem, please email me at

When you are next prompted to activate your software, elect the telephone
method.
