I have both Office 2007 Ultimate and Office XP Professional on my machine,
as well as Visio Prof 2007. Both are legal - both activated. Both show
they are activated. All components, including Visio Prof 2007 show they are
activated.
The PC automatically installed MS update today (it appears to be Windows XP
Update KB960715 - what's that got to do with Office??), and now the SysTray
has a little 5-point star icon with crap about "Learn how to Activate
Office", benefits etc etc. And there is no option to turn the nasty little
slimy creep off.
This sort of intrusive accusatory bullshit from M$ really pisses me off.
Love MS software - loathe M$ unconscionable, predatory Gestapo corporate
mindset, whose primary instinct is to distrust and accuse the millions of
loyal customers, like me, who have contributed handsomely to the obscene
voracious avaricious greed of this exemplar of "Greed is Good".
My disgust, loathing and contempt of all concerned with M$ can only be
described as monumental.
Love MS software. Loathe the shambling twisted failed human horrors in
Redmond dungeons who manage the software.
Very Angry Paddy
