Activation

I have Office XP PRO 2002. I have activated the product and have the
original packaging from DELL. When i go to update the product at MicroSoft,
the site tells me it is NOT activated. When i open office components and
click activate product it tells me it is already activated

it will not let me as i cannot open the activation wizard and it is an
automated system.

And this is on the original computer?
Office XP is a very OLD suite. Why are you now trying to activate?

This may not help but I've been having some problems updating Office XP. I
ran the update and MS tells cme that the product is not valid. It won't let
me update but when I put my original disk in the CD player it will update.
Please try that.
