activation

I've installed Microsoft Office XP on this computer.
Now I've installed it on my wifes' computer in another
room of the house and i can't activate it.
I get a message that it s already activated on another
computer.
Are you only allowed one installation / program?

Depending on the version you purchased, you are allowed one or two installs,
but the second one is supposed to be a laptop that only you use. Read your
EULA to see how many your version allows.
