I "downgraded" from Vista to XP on a relatively new laptop. Then, I
reinstalled Office 2007 (not an OEM version) from the Office 2007 setup disks
that I purchased. (Office 2007 installed successfully, by the way, on the
Vista OS). Now the activation process will not accept the product key &
there is no telephone solution offered by the "wizard."

The solution required a phone call to MS tech support. Eventually, after 3
different phone calls & two hours time, I finally got the techs to understand
the situation. They determined, finally, that I had a corrupted Product Key
& supplied a new one. All is good again.

What number did you call to get a new product key? I wanted to install office
pro 2007 on all three of my computers because I was told I could and it only
let me install it in one and when I try to install it on the others, it says
the key is invalid.

Thank you!
