active cell in Excel for Mac

The light blue shading of the active cell is difficult to see. Does
anyone know how to increase the brightness or contrast of the active
cell?

Hi,
I don't know of a particular way except going to the system preferences,
appearance and then changing the highight color to another color. In my
case, I changed it to RED, and it is more visible.
