Active Desktops + usernames

I am currently working on a project to make an active
desktop in MS Powerpoint. I have created the log off
button and other nesercary items, but one thing i am stuck
on is that i want to display the current user that is
logged on to the computer. The nearest i have got is a
button that refers to a vb macro.

Yes, you have to go the VBA way, there is no built in support for what you
are trying to achieve.
