I just recently had my IT department set up the Active Directory/Project
Server synch.

Resources that were inactive in the server are now active again. I did some
research in the Microsoft Admin Guide and found the following statement "If a
user exists in the Project Server security group but does not exist in the
mapped Active Directory security group, the user in the Project Server
security group is deactivated". I have plenty of users that exist in Project
but no longer exist in Active Directory that are still showing as active.
How do I get them to be inactive? Somehow, my synch cannot be set correctly.

Thanks!

Just to confirm. Those users which were inactive in project, were they
configured with Project Authentication or Windows Authentication in Modify
User properties page?

If they were and are with windows authentication, then you can clear AD-GUID
for those inactive users by clearing 'Clear User AD GUID:' box in Modify user
page. Then set their Account Status to Inactive. Next time you do the AD-Sync
it will not re-activate those users.

Let us know about it.

They were set up with Windows authentication.

Shouldn't the system take care of deactivating the resources automatically
though?
