Although I can successfully synchronize manually by using the ‘Save and
Synchronize’ button(s), I have issues with the Active Directory when
attempting to automate it using the scheduling feature. As a result of doing
it manually, I succeed in making the account(s) to be enable for “User can be
assigned as a resourceâ€, and having them moved into their respective group as
specified in AD.
In Server Settings > Active Directory Resource Pool Synchronization (under
Operational Policies), I see the following message: “The synchronization
failed. To identify where the errors occurred, see the Windows event log on
the serverâ€.
In the Server Settings > Manage Groups, I see ‘succeeded’ listed under the
‘Last Sync’ column for the groups that are set up to sync. Under the ‘Active
Directory Sync Options’ within the Manage Group page, the status message
displays the following: “The Project Server groups were last synchronized on
…â€. However, the resource(s) are not moved into their respective AD group.
