Active Directory Synchronization - Custom Mapping

Does anyone know if it is possible to update a "Cost Center" field
(custom resource field we added) in the Enterprise Resource Pool using
Active Directory Synchronization. We have resources that move between
cost centers quite often, so this is a bit of an administrative task to
keep up with it manually. If our AD structure included "Cost
Center" as an attribute, do you know if we can map this to a field in
Project Server?

I've been looking to some way of mapping additional Active Directory
information into Enterprise Resource Pool. This will definitely save time.

Since no one has not responded to your question. I'm thinking no one has
done this before. Is there a third party software?
