Active directory user groups in Sharepoint

When a new project is created, a corresponding sharepoint site is also
created from the pre defined TEMPLATE which was imported into project server.
In this template ,each Active directory group is a member of its
corresponding site group.

The problem is that required Active directory user groups that were created
in the template are not propagated to the newly created sharepoint sites. Is
there a way to automatically do this when the sites are created ? Or if not,
any workaround ?

You can do this with some coding. If you want to dig into this, I suggest
that you post your questions in the Project.Developer group and also
consider leveraging the SharePoint newsgroups.
