Active Issues and Risks count problem in PWA Home page

EPM Consultant

Hi All,

I am facing a probelm in showing the risk/issue count in PWA home page. It
shows no active issues and risks but it's not correct. I can see this by
going to risk/issues tab against any required project in PWA.

Note:
Its working fine in the Production environment. We restored the new
production database in our UAT environment. Everything is working fine except
this count issue in PWA home page.

Your help would be highly appreciated as this issue is annoying me a lot.

Thank you,
EPM Consultant

Hi EPM consultant,

Have you tried to syncronise the web pages?
You can do this under Admin > Manage windows sharepoint services > Manage
SharePoint Sites.
Choose a site where issues and risks can be found and syncronise this page
with PWA. This may solves the problem
Hope this helps

This usually happens when users are assigned to issues and risks that they
don't have permission to see.

Gary,

No, is that right that risk/issue assigned resource should be assigned to
any task or under project resource sheet.

Many Thanks!

Sankar:

People get their access to these based on being part of the project team.
So, make sure your users have at least one published task assignment in the
project.

Gary,
I'm so sorry for posting on wrong place.
I tried as you said and it worked. Is there a way you could assign to
anybody but not having tasks assignments.?
Many Thanks! again

I suppose you could do this through the database, but off the top of my
head, I can't tell you how. A trivial task assignment is the easiest
approach.
