Active Sync and Multiple Computers

I still have an issue when I sync my Smartphone with my 2 computers. I get a
message that one of my calender events would not sync from my phone to the
2nd computer or from the computer to the phone. It does fine with the 1st
one, no matter whether it is my laptop or my home computer. It is when
syncing the events to the 2nd unit. I have tried removing all of the iTunes
stuff as well as removing and reinstalling Outlook 2007 and Active Sync 4.5.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have posted to this issue before
but have not had any success with finding a fix and now cannot find my
previous posts.

What phone? Have you checked in their forums? The people there would have
more experience syncing the device to multiple computers. The active sync
forums might be helpful too.

What problem do you see? From time to time I've had events that won't sync
when using two PCs and a Windows Mobile device and my solution is to copy the
event to another calendar on the PC where the sync works with the mobile
device cradled, delete the event so that it's deleted on the device as well,
put the event back in the main calendar so it's regenerated on the device,
delete the event on the second PC where the sync fails, then cradle the device
to put the event back in Outlook. Of course, I've backed up both Outlooks and
the device prior to doing all this.

I would like to sync my HTC touch smart phone to my desktop when I'm at work
and to my laptop when I'm on the road. I worry about losing my phone and
having my entire weeks worth of notes, new contacts, and appointments all
just vanish without any backup. I can't be the only one with this issue but
have been unable to find anyone that can tell me they have done it
successfully. Any help??

I sync a Windows Mobile device using ActiveSync to two different computers.
You must tell ActiveSync that you will connecting to two different computers
when you create the first partnership. Did you do that?
