Active Window Boarder

I am using Windows XP and Word 2007. I have set my active window boarder to
red so I can easily see it. However Word 2007 ignores it. So if I have
multiple windows or Excel spread sheet open I often mistakenly close the
wrong one because the window just over lap so it appears at a glass as one
window with and extra row of icons. Is there anyway to put at least a dark
border around a Word window. As far as I can tell the only choices are blue
and silver themes.

It's not just Word 2007 that ignores the border setting... so do Excel 2007,
Outlook 2007, etc. They also ignore the setting in Vista (even if you choose
the classic appearance, rather than Vista's Aero Glass theme).

I do not know if there are add-ins that overcome this, but I believe that
you already have discovered the only alternatives--blue, silver, and black
(don't know if this alternative exists only in Vista), and none of these
provide what you're looking for.

Has anyone found an add-in or other fix for Office 2007 ignoring the window
border settings? I have exactly the same problem as RN. (Why does Microsoft
do things like this?)
