Active X Control stopping email

I cannot send my distribultion list as a message refers to Active X control.
How can I get around this problem. What is active x and how do you control it?
This is urgent for my business client list. Please help. Thanks Henriette

What version of Outlook are you using?
What mail account type are you using?
