Here is another one of my major issues. I have three systems in my
organization that will not load the active x control to view the various PWA
webparts. They get the following error message:
The controls for Project Web Access cannot be downloaded correctly. To
download the controls:
Verify your security settings in Internet Explorer are set to allow ActiveX
controls to be downloaded.
Check to see if Internet Explorer has stopped the installation of the
ActiveX controls. To install the controls, on the Information Bar, click
Install ActiveX Control.
You need to use a 32-bit version of your browser to download and run the
ActiveX controls.
Contact your systems administrator.
These systems did at one time have the active x control installed and
working fine. Unfortunatley I have no authority to limit the downloading of
additional software, addins, etc. from other sources and I am afraid that is
one of the problems.
There are no similarities between the three systems, that you could say
"Well, they are all Dell systems, or they all are running IE 6, etc."
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the software, communications
add-ins, etc. Nothing works.
Help please.
