Active X controls - getting them quickly from the list

I have a ton of Active X controls registerd. I'm using Access 2003. One of
the controls I need frequently right now starts with the letter "S" so I
have to wait and wait and wait until the damn list scrolls to that control
so I can stick it on my forms. This was a problem way back in A97. It blows
my mind that it's still a problem. Is there a way to get these things
without waiting for the list to scroll? Has this been fixed in more recent
versions?

When I work in Delphi (even very old versions), I just go to the toolbar I
need an object from and grab it. Same in VWD. Duh, why can't this be done in
Access?????

Thanks,

Keith

I should mention that I know I can get the item from the "Insert" menu's
"ActiveX Controls" button but it seems like the button in the controls
toolbar could be more useful than it is.
