Active X Controls

Hi,

I dont know much about active x so I'm hoping someone could advise me:

On the toolbox in Access, you can hit the more controls buttons and it shows
you tons of other controls.

Can these be used in access, or are they only designed for certain
environments. How do you know which will work for access and which wont, and
how do you make one yourself. Would it be easy to make a simple one in VB?

The answer to the second part of your question is, Yes, ActiveX is fairly simple in VB once you are
comfortable with VB and the IDE.
