In case of PPT i can embed an activex object(swf file ) .Is the same possible
for PPTX ?
When i am doing the same for PPTX and removing/renaming swf file i inserted
,it is not displaying the swf .In case of PPT as it is getting embedded so
renaming/removing swf file from where it was inserted is not effecting the
swf inserted in Presentation as it got embedded

For some reason 2007 does not embed swf files. Not sure if this is a bug

Please confirm if this is a bug or there is a workaround to embed swf so that
it can be played in slide show evn when source has been renamed
