Problem: ActiveSync won't recognize Outlook items to synchronize.
I have been using ActiveSYnc (3.8) to sync with my PDA (PocketPC, Compaq
Aero).
I did an upgrade from Office 2000 to Office XP, and from Win2000 to XP.
Now ActiveSync won't recognize Outlook on the PC, and thus won't allow
syncronization of Outlook items (Calendar, Contacts, Notes, Tasks); they are
not available from the options list to check off to synchronize.
I did reinstall of ActiveSync, delete/recreate partnership, etc. to no
avail. It will sync. {favorites, inbox, files} only.
Sometimes after a sync of the items it does do, then the desired missing
items do show checkboxes on the options page, but it doesn't work, and they
dissapear on a sync.
