activeX control in subreport

Hi,

I have a question regarding ActiveX controls on subreports.

In my application, my report (and then MS Access too) crashes when I
use a RichEdit control on the subreport to show some text. When I
replace the RichEdit control by a normal TextBox, the report shows
fine.
When I compile my database to an mde file, the report also shows fine,
without giving an error.

I was wondering if someone knows something about this problem. I have
no idea where to look, could it be that the queries used as the
recordsource for both report and subreport are too complex? Because
when I create a really simple database-model, I cannot simulate the
problem.

I hope someone can help me with this, it is really frustrating :-(

Sandra I have not heard of this behaviour before with the MS RTF
control. Perhaps you would be willing to give me control a try and see
if the issue is resolved or not.
