ActiveX control license problem - Access 2003

I have an access database created in Office XP (2002) that is in Access 2000
format. The database works fine in Access 2000 & 2002, but I receive the
message: "You don't have the license required to use this ActiveX control"
when using Access 2003 (regardless of the computer it is on). Does anyone
know how to work around this problem? The message does not reference the
ActiveX control or OLE object that it is having a problem with, so I'm not
quite sure where to even start. The only ActiveX control I know I've used
is Calendar Control 11.0, but I continue to receive the same message after I
removed this control from the database.

Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

well, I can only recommend you to delete forms one by one trying to run each
time in order to find which form cause this error message. then recreate
this form. also look at references dialog, probaly it gives you some idea

I have had the same experience. Luckily for me, the form that generated the error was extremely simple so I didn't have many things to investigate. I was able to narrow the problem down to a macro that closed a form. When I deleted the macro and closed the form using VBA code, the Active X control error message went away

I realize that this makes absolutley no sense, but I swear that it is true.

Now, I'm having a different but equally frustrating problem with Access 2003. Can anyone reading this help me? I want to get rid of the "hyperlinks can be harmful" message.

not sure this is a legal way, even in reg file is written:
Copying the keys may be a violation of established copyrights.
