ActiveX controls that work

I added a spin button to my Excel 2000 spreadsheet, but can not get it to work.
How do you make the ActiveX controls work?

I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Excel.

This newsgroup is for questions about macros in Access, and there's no
similarity between macros in Access and those in Excel.
