When using the ActiveX control pull down menu in form design I need to register some of the controls
Where can I find the controls which correspond with the pull down menu
Can these be down loaded?

Just to let you know. That menu will display every ActiveX object
registered on your system. The fact that it is in the list does not mean
you have license to use it or that it even can be made to work in Access.
The majority of them in fact will not work in Access.

Many of them are ActiveX controls that were installed by other software
that you have on your PC and they are intended to be used only within that
program.

thanks for the info-----i did not know this. is there a list that would have which controls can be used in access?
