Activities and Availability of resources

Hello,
It seems that the resource assignments on Activities are not taken in
account in the Resource Availability graph in PWA 2007.
Do you notice the same behavior?

First of all, do you have SP1 applied? If so, did you remember to publish
the Activity Plan? You must publish the plan to make the resource
utilization information visible in PWA. I created a sample Activity Plan,
assigned two resources to tasks, and published the Activity plan, and the
information showed up just fine in the Resource Availability page in PWA. I
am using Project Server 2007 SP1. Let us know what you find.

Thanks a lot Dale,

I am running 2007 SP1. And I did a second trial with nominative resources:
everything worked fine, the information showed up just fine in the Resource
Availability page in PWA.
Maybe I complicated too much my first trial because I used "Team" resources,
then several members of the Team assigned themselves on the tasks. Something
is going wrong because in some views that's the Team resource which is
displayed as assigned resource.

It would have helped if you had stated you were assigning Team resources to
the tasks in the Activity plan. I don't believe the use of Team resources
on tasks in an Activity plan works the way people think it might in terms of
availability. Regardless, you have things working now, so thanks for
perservering until you got it working.
