Activities Tab in Contacts with Public Folder

For some reason my activities tab became disabled in our public folder address book (we are on a server). I have managed to get the tab back but was wondering if anyone new what folders I have to have set up in the activites section to allow the tracking of the items from everyone in activities.

I have right clicked on the folder and selected Properties then the Activities tab, but am unsure what items need to be placed in there to be able to see everyones activity (email, task, calendar etc) linked with the contacts.
