I have a pwa 2007 server up and running. The PMO engineer hasn't a clue how
to use project, and I don't know engineering. Is there a resource to help
using activities in the project center? I am hoping to make the transition to
Project easier to accept. Big TIA!

Of course you know that the PMO engineer's lack of knowledge about how to
use Microsoft Project is a major risk to your company's implementation of
Project Server. I trust you also know that there is no "quick fix" to
resolve this problem. He/she desperately needs training on how to
effectively use both Microsoft Project 2007 and Project Server 2007 as well.
Our company offers "open enrollment" classes for project managers on how to
use both of these tools, and he/she could enroll in a class at:

http://projectservertraining.com/learning/schedule.aspx

If taking a class is not a possibility, he/she could purchase our Managing
Enterprise Projects.... books on how to use Project Server 2007 effectively
from the project manager's perspective. Keep in mind that this book is over
900 pages long, and documents how to use every feature in the system. To
purchase this book, he/she should navigate to the following URL:

http://projectserverbooks.com/books/project2007books.aspx

Of the two, I strongly recommend the training. Hope this helps.

Thankx for the reply. I have seen many training resources. I was hoping to
find an online "quide" I could use. Thankx again.

Understood, my friend! In summary, there is no "shortcut" to get this user
competent with Microsoft Project 2007 and Project Web Access. I recommend
you provide at least a minimum of training for him. Hope this helps.
