Does anyone know if there is a way to change who approves time/task updates
in an Activity Plan or Proposal? Situation someone who "ownsand approves"
the current plan leaves the company. We don't want to always recreate a
plan, due to this happening.
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

You have just pointed out one more limitation of the Proposals and Activity
plans feature. When a PM publishes a Proposal or an Activity plan, the
system designates the PM as the Status Manager for each task. Unlike an
enterprise project, where the new PM can open the project and set
him/herself as the Status Manager for each task, there is no way to do this
with a Proposal or an Activity plan. Sorry for the bad news. Hope this
helps.

Dale, thanks for verifying what I suspected. I was actually hoping I had
just missed something. Ah well, back to figuring out a work around <smile>
