Actual Cost Protected??

We are looking at implementing the use of rates in MSP Server 2003. Problem
is, that during my preliminary eval I noticed that if you manually enter
Actual Work on a task it appears to use the Actual Work value to perform the
Actual Cost calculation even though there is nothing in AWP.

Shouldn't the calculation be based ONLY on AWP?? Is there a way to lock it
down

Hi Jen,

If you switch on "Manage Periods" in 2003 and actual work is changed, PS
will overwrite actual work with AWP again, ensuring that actual work and AWP
is the same.
hope this helps
