Hello,
I have resources update the % Work Complete, Actual Start
and Actual Finish fields in Proj Server 2003 using the web
interface. After I accept the changes, only the Actual
Start and %Work Complete fields are updated.
Unfortunately, Project ignores the Actual Finish data
entered by the resource places an "NA" in the field and
puts the Finish Date out into the future based on the
Duration field. The Actual Duration field is updated
correctly, but the Tracking Gant uses the Duration field
to plot the schedule.
I have tried using Fixed Units - Effort Driven, Fixed
Duration - Effort Driven and Fixed Duration - Not Effort
Driven on the task, with the same result. The schedule is
updated by % work complete.
Is there a way have the actual data that the resource
enters correctly presented in the master schedule?
Thanks so much, Steve
