Actual start dates columns

Hi,

I am a newbie. I have entered all the tasks and the corresponding
material resources required. I want to see both planned vs actual dates
since i am new to MS project i have two problems.

1. How do i see both plannd dates and actual dates? When i do
Tools->Tracking->Update Task i can enter the Actual dates, but it
changes the schedule dates. (i have baselined the schedule).

2. How do i reflect that in the Gantt chart?

Hi,

You can insert the columns Baseline Start and Baseline Finish
And select the Tracking Gantt View.
