actual work and resource usage - funny

Hello,

I subject something of interesting to you that I have just
noted (it frightens me in fact.)

You can di this...

Create a five days task, and assign two resources
(allocation 100 %) on this task controlled by effort.

The calendar is defined in eight hours per day, 40 hours
per week, 21 days per month and works is 9 hours to 18
hours with one hour of pause between 12 and 13 h. Résultat
2 resources with 20h each one of work over one 5 days
duration.

Easy.

Once in posting "use of the tasks" I decide to seize real
work for the resources (local project). For the first
resource, I defined in 6 hours real work for the first
day. The computer reacts correctly by smoothing the
remaining load.

On the other hand, after having seized of reality, I
remove the two resources of the task. i make the resource
suppression and I record the project.

I say myself, ultimately, the two resources which
theoretically were not available any more will have to
work nevertheless on this task. I thus reallocate, the two
resources on the task.

Peekaboo ! Real work appears for the first resource! Not
normal will you say to me, real work should have been lost
during the suppression of assignment.

But there is even funnier! The real work which appears is
not six hours but eight hours. The reality which appears
is thus fixed on the estimated one. I find that extremely
funny, approximately, Project enables us to realize that
one had not been able to make at the beginning - and in
more it has a good memory!

Do you have suggestions? I'm beginning to believe my
neuron does not function any more.

Thank you by advance for your answer.
