Actual Work disabled on MS Project 2007 Add-in for Outlook

Hello

I use the Outlook add-in for the EPM2007.
Users now install and configure the add-in, import tasks and submit
the work remaining. The problem is that the field Actual Work is
disabled. This occurs for all users and all projects. Is there any
setting wrong?

Thanks.

I believe that the Actual Work only works with the Timesheets functionality,
not the My Tasks functionality. Are you using Timesheets or My Tasks to
update your projects?

Hi.

I use My Tasks.
Unless I have mistaken the Actual Work have worked using the My
Tasks.
Probably a setting was changed the Add-in for Outlook.

Today I can input the Remaining Work and submit to the project manager
by Outlook.

Thanks for help.

I have the Project Server with SP2, Project Professional 2007 with SP2
and Outlook 2007 with SP2.
This configuration is so since when we started using the 2007 version,
and it worked in the past.

Thanks for help.

Gary and Andrew,

I created a test Timesheets and the Add-in for Outlook enabled Actual
Work field.
Unfortunately the company does not want to work with Timesheets.
Probably have to leave the Add-in for Outlook. Or is there another
alternative known?

Thanks for help.

Allow me to "jump into" this thread. If you are struggling with the Project
Server 2007 add-in for Outlook, I think there is a simpler way to get the
job done without using the add-in at all. Refer to the following Project
Server Help blog post for an alternate approach with Project Server and
Outlook integration:

Hope this helps.
