Actual Work v. AWP

I have a project that shows 582.5 of actual work and only 500 hours of Actual
Work Protected. I have no unapproved hours. However, I did reject some labor
hours along the way that the analysts needed to resubmit. In addition, there
were adjustments to actuals done within this project.

Does rejecting hours or adjusting actuals out of a schedule also remove them
from Actual Work - or just AWP?

Rejecting does not as they can and should be resubmitted. Adjustments to
actuals does though.
