I am entering actual work values in the Task Usage view, in the assignment
rows. For tracking purposes, I am entering weekly values. However, if I zoom
in to days (or even the 3-day level, then when I zoom out again, the original
values have been "corrupted".
I suspect it is something to do with how MS Project distrubutes the input
data across days, and then "rebuilds" the weekly totals from these when
zooming back out. Also, that it will be to do with in what unit work is
stored as (hours/days). I know that one can set the option for the project
"Work entered in:", but in my organisation, we receive actuals in hours, but
weekly.
