Actual work vs. actual work protected

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me why the actual hours worked in MS project differ from the
actual hours protected? On our project people update their actual hours
through web access and no actual work is entered in MS project itself. I
tried to correct it using the 'sync to protected actuals' option, but a big
difference remains.

Hi Barbara,

I'm told that sometimes people complete tasks early so they are billing
hours to a task that starts in the future, and that this can cause sync
issues and messages.
