Hi All
'Actual work' is work actually performed and "Work" is the total work that
was/is scheduled. If the project baseline is saved at the start of the
project, the 'work baseline' equals the scheduled 'work'.
I have been trying out scenarios and noted when the 'actual work' is greater
than the baseline (and the baseline is equal to the 'work') the 'work' is
adjusted to the same total as 'actual work'. Is this correct?
If so, how do I show the extra hours of 'actual work' performed over and
above the baseline? Surely this would impact on my earned value, I am
assuming earned value is calculated from baseline figures, and any variance
of 'actual work' / work is reported against the baseline.
Can someone please provide some guidance?
TIA to all whom respond - Vers
