Actual Work

Does anyone know how (or has done) a report from project that takes all
resources and actual work for the week and outputs to a timecard?

Thanks in advance!

Open the project and try the following:

1. Click View - Reports
2. Click the Assignments section
3. Select the Who Does What When report and click the Edit button
4. Change the Work field to the Actual Work field and click OK
5. Double-click the Who Does What When report to print preview it
6. Click the Print button
7. In the Timescale section of the Print dialog, set the date range to the
week you wish to see
8. Click the OK button to print the report

Just a thought. Hope this helps.

Dale,

Thanks! We can get something from each individual project.

How do we get all the actual work entered from our employees from a master
project with 70 project under it. We are trying to avoid opening 70 projects
and printing them individually.

Thanks!

Short of querying the SQL Server database directly for this data, you would
need to open a master project with all 70 projects in it to run the report.
Another approach would be to use the View resource assignments option in the
sidepane of the Resource Center page. If you have 100 or less people in
your Enterprise Resource Pool, you could select everyone, view their
assignment information in this View, and then export the data grid to Excel
to collect the data. Hope this helps.
