actual work

hi;
i am using MSPS 2007. i define a project and assign its task to my
resources. and my resources enter their actual work in their timesheets and
import them for progress.i wanna know if i define one tasks duration for
example 5 hours.and my resource work 4 hours on it and finish this task.when
he or she import his/her work for progress,the percentage of this becomes
80%.but the task in real is 100%.
how can i modify this problem?
how can i understand that this task has finished earlier than my
planned?just with my resource comment or not?
