Actualize customized fields?

Hi guys,



I created a Masterproject and added many Single-projects. The Masterproject

is connected with the Ressource Pool. I added a custom field (=Work) to the

Gantt Chart view.



The problem is, if I am assigning resources(work) to the projects, my custom
field (work)

should reflect the work, for example 10 days. But I first have to open every
single project

until my field shows the correct amount of days. Sometimes it is sufficient
if I just mark

the field.



Is anybody facing the same problem? Is there no point like "Refresh" or
something like that in Project?

Hello Maik,
Where did you created your custom field ?
You have to copy the calculated field in all the projects : Master project
and all the sub-projects....
Tools / Organizer... / Fields

Tell us if it works.

Thanks for your answer.

I created the field in the Masterproject. But the field
does not show up in the Organizer. Perhaps it is why
I have chosen the Field Name "Work".

But I tried this out without a positive result:
I created a "Duration" field and linked the
"Work" field into the "Duration" field. Then
I copied the "Duration" field into the sub-projects..
But as I mentioned, nothing changed.

Perhaps you got another idea?

It must work...
Please check that you are in Automatic Calculation :
Tools / Options / Calculation / Calculation Mode : Automatic.
