Acxess 2003 and 2007

I have a split database, tables in 2003 and someone is using 2007. I linked
the 2003 tables to their 2007 version of the database. I imported the
forms/queries, etc. into the 2007 version with a link to a database that
holds only the tables but it is in 2003. The person isn't able to get the
command buttons to work on the main menu. Whenever i open up the same
database in 2007 - the same one, i can open it fine and all buttons function
properly. It seems like i'm the admin on the 2007 version and am the only
one who can access it. i checked the options and all say shared/edited
records for record lockiing. Previously i changed it to no locks. i can't
get it to work whenever the other person opens it up. any suggestions?

Ensure that the location of the database file has been added to Trusted
Locations for the user.
