AD group sync

I've never had a problem with the group sync before. I have added a new user
to AD yesterday and added them to my AD "Project Server" group, I checked the
PS users this morning and the new user wasn't there, so the scheduled sync
didn't add him. I checked the queue and the job status was success. So I
tried running manual sync and it didn't give me any errors but the user still
wasn't added. I couldn't find anything in the logs that would give me any
clues either.

Any suggestions are greatly appreicated!

Possible cause (there may be othere):

One possible cause: Did this this "new" user exist before? If the user
existed previously and was deleted and you are adding back the user into
Project Server 2007, it won't sync. It's a bug. Modify the login name (e.g.
instead of "zzzz\username", change it to "zzzz\username1" or something like
that...)
Another possible cause: Also, if it fails during sync, it loads the user
table partially and bombs out, so you get the same effect. Change the
username and try again...

Thanks for the quick response Rick,

This is a brand new user, never been in the system before.

Turns out that I had some resources stuck in checked out state. After
checking them back in the sync works again.
