Hi everyone
I'm getting quite frustrated over Project server integration with AD, so
i hope somebody can help.
When i do a sync under "Active Directory: Set the options for AD
synchronization" i always get "failed" I searched the net. And every
where I see somebody having trouble with it, the helper wants to see the
log errors.
I then checked the event viewer for any errors but I only get SQL login
messages. And they are all successful.
In the System log i get tons of messages looking like this
Event Type: Error
Event Source: DCOM
Event Category: None
Event ID: 10010
Date: 31-05-2005
Time: 13:28:29
User: NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE
Computer: ADM-SERVICE3B
Description:
The server {73E709EA-5D93-4B2E-BBB0-99B7938DA9E4} did not register with
DCOM within the required timeout.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.
I have looked up the CLSID and it tells me that it is WMI causing the
error. Does that have anything to do with Project server?
I have tried the utility setrace to divert the log to a file. But it is
not even created
Help
PS - I am running SP1
