AD & Project server synchronization HELP!

Hello,
The Microsoft doc says that:
- A sync launched from the "Groups" page import the AD users as Project
server users, but not as enterprise resources.
- A sync launched from the "Server Configuration" page import the AD users
as Project server users of course, and also as enterprise resources.

The first option works well, but I'm interested in the second one which
doesn't work. Nothing appens!

Where am I wrong ?

While I tried the AD synchronization in the "Server Configuration" page of
PWA, I noticed this error message in the Event Viewer of Win Server 2003,
Application folder:
