AD sync succeeds but fails to sync users - SecurityInvalidUID

Hi,
we have a problem where the synchronization of users for one of the user
groups does not work.

The group 'Reporters' is synchronized to the same AD group that is used for
Resource pool synchronization (team members).

Looking at the group in pwa says it has been successfully synchronized.

Looking into the database, Column WSEC_GRP_AD_LastSync in
ProjectServer_Published.MSP_Web_Security_Groups for the 'Reporters' group
says it was last synched in november 2008 though other groups has been
synched last night.

The event app log reports that 'Reporters' group have been synchronized
successfully and so does the ULS logs.

Looking in the ULS log for one of the user that should have been synched the
log says reports that this specific user have been added to the 'Reporters'
group.


But from the ULS logs I can see another message that might have something to
do with the problem. Unsure what it means though and how to resolve it.

Please, has anyone experienced a similar problem or ULS message?
