AD Sync with NT4 domain

Hello,

does anyone know if, on project server 2003, it's possible to sync
Enterprise Resource Pool and Users (in my case Team Members) with user
accounts that are in an NT4 trusted domain?
If not.. If I create each user manually, it's still possibile to use
windows authentication or I need to use project authentication?

Gotta:

You can easily harvest your resource information from your global address
list if you're using Exchange and Outlook. Even in an AD environment, you're
essentially getting Resource Name, email address and logon from AD synch.
Personally, I think the AD synch in Project Server 2003 creates more work
than it saves for installations with fewer than 1000 users.
