AD Synch failing - all of a sudden.

Hi,
We are experiencing some strange behavior with the Active directory sync in
Project Server 2007. We have defined new 3 groups; one for admins, one for
project viewers, and one for PM's.

For some reason the AD sync stopped working. The message is Succeeded in the
AD sync screen, and the queue shows the sync as successful. In the event log
i get error 7718.

Does anyone have any idea why it would stop working?

have you got any users or groups with none alpha-numerical characters in
their names, specifically commas ?

If so, try renaming them with only alpha-numerical characters.
