AD Synch RBS

We are thinking of using AD Resouce Synch to populate / maintain the project
server resource pool. I am pretty sure that I understand the process. The
only thing that is throwing me off is RBS. In project server, RBS values are
realative, meaning that If I change someone on top, the changes flow all the
way downstream. I don't see how I can have a field in AD that would also be
realative, meaning if someone near the top changed, I believe that I would
have to manually update every single user downstream in the AD field. Am I
correct?

Hi BikerJohn,

The AD sync merely creates/updates resources, and then places them into
groups (AD synch is set it two places and performs two functions). It has no
effect on the RBS placement of a resource.
