AD Sysnc error with PWA

Leigh

I am getting sync failures with event log errors -

Description:
Accessing AD group PSG-Team Members
failed due to error -2147467259-FetchGroup: Data provider or other service
returned an E_FAIL status.

followed by Component: AD Connector
File: AutoADProcess
Line: -1
Description:
AD PWA sync for : PSG-Resource Managers -
AD Group Error - cause likely to be group does not exist

- The groups do exist...

Any suggestions

Hi

My experience is a typo or similar if you get this error.

Is PSG-Resource Mangers the only group that doesn't synchronize?
Also, how do you enter the AD group?

I remember having a problem using the MS administrative guide, because it
said I should write "DOMAIN@GROUPNAME", but it only worked for be by
entering "DOMAIN".

Hope this helps...

Thanks, - no it's not a typo as it partialy syncs up.
also get an "Internal PWA Group Error" event ": (91)Object variable or With
block variable not set"

On some of the PSG-groupnames, some of the accounts come across ok, not
others, although it always reports either Failure or Partial Failure.

also - did you mean GROUPNAME only below? Not sure what you ment by DOMAIN
only?

Sorry, my fault. I meant "GROUPNAME" instead of "DOMAIN".
It also seems strange that the sync is done partially... but I'm afraid I'm
not able to help you futher since I didn't get these errors.

Good luck!
